This past June we had the opportunity to style one of our couple’s engagement shoots. There honestly aren’t enough good words to describe this couple and how wonderful it’s been working with them on their wedding.
The inspiration for Natalie and Steve’s engagement shoot really came from their wedding décor and them as a couple. We decided on a wine and cheese picnic set up almost immediately, knowing that Natalie and Steve annually visit Finger Lake vineyards in New York. Natalie has been collecting lots of old books and hobnail vases to use as her centerpieces and we wanted to incorporate those textures and items into their shoot. Their wedding theme is vintage shabby-chic with a soft mint and pink color scheme – perfect for an intimate picnic afternoon! Not only is their engagement shoot an announcement of their upcoming marriage, but it also allowed us to give their family and friends a glimpse of the wedding to come!
Shot by the lovely Maria Mack Photography and styled by us, Belovely Events.

We’re so excited to share that one of our Belovely couples, Lindsay and Chris were featured in Mache Magazine’s winter issue! The gorgeous photos were taken by the oh-so-talented Krista Leigh Hurst Photography and we’re so in love with all the small details of their shoot.
Check out the entire Cozy Love feature HERE (starting on page 46), and be sure to snag some of the delicious recipes! Hearty Beef Stew anyone?!
How adorable is that cottage!? And you can stay at the Lancaster, Pa cottage for a romantic getaway with your sweetie (check out the feature for more details and links). Oh and guess what!? Not only were we smitten to have Krista pick Lindsay and Chris for this feature, but we happen to know the other couple she shot as well! Don’t miss the absolutely adorable (and quite delicious) Breakfast in Bed feature (beginning on page 46)!
Need some help coming up with cute props and ideas for a holiday photo shoot? Belovely would love to help you style an engagement photo shoot, a couple photo shoot or even a holiday card. There is no task to big or small that we wouldn’t love to help style!! Here are some really cute holiday couple ideas that we just had to share with you all!
You should definitely be taking advantage of Christmas lights this time of year. Wrap the two of you up in a string of lights for a warm and cozy feel. So simple but so adorable!
You know how much we love signs, why not make your own Holiday Banner and seal the deal with a kiss!
Who knew Christmas tree shopping could be the perfect photo back drop?
Take advantage of the snow while you can, it makes for such magical moments like this one.
How freaking cute is this!! Craft your own fort, string a set of lights, and snuggle up to the one you love.
Don’t forget to have a little fun! The silly photos sometimes turn out to be the cutest and most endearing ones! Who wouldn’t love to act like a kid again and take photos with a sled?
